Shows to Watch: October 13, 2011 (League, Community, Parks and Rec, Jersey Shore)

The League: "The Sukka"

Thursdays on FX at 10:30/9:30C
The League never fails to disappoint, as its premiere was better than any episode they’ve had yet. On tonight’s episode everyone is down since they got shafted in the draft, no pun intended, but don’t trust each other enough to trade. Ruxin, though, is busy trying to get baby Geofferey into a Jewish pre-school while Jenny goes back to working as a realtor.

Community: "Remedial Chaos Theory"

Thursdays on NBC at 8/7C
Even though Community is holding up strong with its fan base I have to admit that some of the unique witty jokes and puns are getting stale. We all loved them during the first couple of seasons but hopefully the scriptwriters can keep up the pace to satisfy their old and new viewers. But anyways, tonight on Community Troy and Abed throw a housewarming party. Except since this is the fantastic Community the party turns into a very real post-modern world with parallel realities. Doesn’t look like this show is letting up anytime soon. Tune in tonight! (P.S. couldn’t find a promo but got a pretty funny clip!)

Park and Recreation: "Pawnee Rangers"

Thursdays on NBC at 8:30/7:30C
Parks and Recreation has been dubbed the best comedic show for your Thursday nights. There’s a lot of competition on Thursday nights and this proves a lot about how good the show is. On tonight’s episode we see what happens as Ron and Leslie take their respective troops into the wild to duel while Tom and Donna attempt to force Ben to relax. Expecting some surprises tonight, tune in!

Jersey Shore: "Situation Problems"

Thursdays on MTV at 10/9C
Things are not looking good for the Situation, as the house is no longer taking the bullsh** the he stirs up. The house wants him out, as they can no longer take all the drama and lies he creates. But there are also two situations that are about to brew up and cause some serious drama. Mike and the boys run into trouble with some locals at the club but later “Team Meatball” can’t get any respect at the club when all they just want to do is dance. Tune into tonight’s episode of Jersey Shore!

Charlie's Angels: "Angels in Chains"

Thursdays on ABC at 8/7C
I can’t yet tell what the future holds for Charlie's Angels but I assume, it being a remake, that it will do just fine on ABC. On tonight’s episode the angels are thrown into jail in Cuba while on a kidnapping case. Bosely joins up with his ex-girlfriend, CIA Samantha Masters (Erica Durance), to help get the angels out but I doubt it’s going to be at all an easy task.

Person of Interest: "Cure Te Ipsum"

Thursdays on CBS at 9/8C
Person of Interest is heading forward with full steam as on this episode the computer cranks out another number. Reese and Finch are tasked to keep an eye on their latest POI, Dr. Megan Tillman. They watch her while she’s on call and after hours to unravel the threat surrounding the young physician.
